Salary:
- Starting pay effective 11/01/2021: $66,092.96
- Top pay after 9 years: $103,432.11
- New FOP contract/pay steps pending for 2023!
- Entry level officers start at the base pay rate and receive annual increases to the top pay.
- Lateral officers start at the pay step equal to their years of full-time law enforcement experience and receive annual increases to the top pay.
Educational Pay Supplement:
After four years of service, officers who have earned 90 or more college credit hours from a recognized and accredited college or university are entitled to a pay supplement of:
- After four years: $2,000
- After six years: $2,200
- After eight years: $2,500
- After ten years: $2,800
- After twelve years: $3,000
- After fourteen years: $3,500
Additionally, the educational pay supplement is added to the officer’s base pay for the purposes of determining overtime pay.
