The Glen Ellyn Police Department enjoys the opportunity to come to residential block parties. If requested, an officer will drive a police car to the block party and provide an opportunity for the children to see a squad car and ask a police officer questions. After a block party application has been approved by the Village, an official phone call request needs to be made to have an officer visit a block party by calling the Police Department main number at 630-469-1187.
