Recreation Department

The Recreation Department operates four Village facilities, located on 280 acres south of Roosevelt Road, including the Village Links Golf Course, Panfish Park, Lambert Lake Nature Preserve and Co-Op Park. These properties serve as both recreation facilities and stormwater management facilities. This protects private property from flood damage, and protects the environment. All Recreation Department facilities are maintained and operated using user fees, without the use of any tax dollars.  Please contact the Recreation Department at 630-469-8194 for information regarding Panfish Park, Lambert Lake Nature Preserve and Co-Op Park.

The DuPage Forest Preserve District, BR Ryall YMCA, School Districts 41, 87 & 89, and multiple churches including St. Petronille and St. James all provide recreation facilities in the Village.  The Village of Glen Ellyn’s Recreation Department does not operate or maintain any of the above facilities, and is a separate government entity from those organizations responsible for the care of these facilities.  For more information on any of the above facilities, or any other recreation facilities within the Village, please contact the appropriate entity.
