If you own property in unincorporated DuPage County, are within the Village’s planning jurisdiction and are interested in annexing into the Village, please contact the Planning and Development Department. The annexation process is based on State and Village Codes and Ordinances. The Village requires any property owner that connects onto Village utilities to either annex into the Village or enter into an annexation agreement with the Village. The annexation process typically takes between three and four months, but may vary depending on the specific issues and number of properties involved.
