Sustainability

Sustainability is the ability of the present generation to meet their needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.  The Village of Glen Ellyn is dedicated to creating a sustainable environment and encourages residents and businesses to do the same.  Below is a list of actions that individuals, households and businesses can take to contribute to sustainability in the Village of Glen Ellyn.  Also available for your review is the Village's list of green initiatives helping to make Glen Ellyn government the most sustainable it can be.  Please click here to view this list of initiatives.
