The Village of Glen Ellyn requires all vehicles registered to a Glen Ellyn address to purchase and display a vehicle sticker. Motorcycle owners will receive a small metal tag that is to be placed under one of the plate screws.
Stickers cost $25 per car (prices may vary by vehicle type) and expire each year on April 30. Residents also have the option to purchase a three-year vehicle sticker at a discounted price. Residents may purchase vehicle stickers by mail using the renewal form, located below, or in-person at the Cashier’s Office. Vehicle stickers may also be purchased at the Police Department, located in the Civic Center, when the Cashier’s Office is closed. New residents may apply for a vehicle sticker on the Village Services Application Form, which is also used to apply for Village utility services. Effective May 1 of each year, a late fee of $5 per month, per vehicle, will be assessed for vehicles that do not display a current vehicle sticker. The Police Department may also issue $50 tickets for noncompliance.
