Police Pension Board

Intent and Purpose

  • To administer the Police Pension Fund
The Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Control, manage and administer the activities of the Fund.
  • Approve payments to beneficiaries of the Fund.
  • Provide for the investment of funds in accordance with statutes.
  • Receive and account for income provided from investments of the Fund.
  • Collection of required contributions from active participants of the Fund.
  • Provide for the payment from the Fund of all necessary expenses related to the administration of the Fund.
  • To establish necessary rules and regulations in conformity with statute in the administration of the Fund.
  • Maintain a public record of all proceedings of the Board.
  • To maintain records and provide various reports to the Village Board on a periodic basis related to the activities of the Fund.
