Intent and Purpose
To administer the Police Pension Fund
The Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Control, manage and administer the activities of the Fund.
Approve payments to beneficiaries of the Fund.
Provide for the investment of funds in accordance with statutes.
Receive and account for income provided from investments of the Fund.
Collection of required contributions from active participants of the Fund.
Provide for the payment from the Fund of all necessary expenses related to the administration of the Fund.
To establish necessary rules and regulations in conformity with statute in the administration of the Fund.
Maintain a public record of all proceedings of the Board.
To maintain records and provide various reports to the Village Board on a periodic basis related to the activities of the Fund.
