Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Public Works Department include the purchase, design, construction and maintenance of all Village-owned infrastructure, equipment, vehicles and related assets. These include:
- Central Business District (CBD) landscaping and parking lots
- Drinking water distribution system
- Parkway trees
- Sanitary sewage and stormwater collection systems
- Street lighting
- Streets
- Village’s vehicle fleet
